Some pictures from our joint worship service from this past weekend

I downloaded these off Facebook.  Our member Chote had someone take these pictures with her camera, so they were loaded up last night.  We had an amazing experience, worshiping and singing with folks from all around the world.  Enjoy these few pictures that we got from last night -- the folks at Abundant Life Worship Center had more pictures, but I wouldn't know how to get a hold of them.

Some pictures of kiddos

Here are a few pictures of the little ones that I teach -- I'll have to show more of them another time.  They definitely keep me on my heels.  Most importantly, I sleep well at night though.  I'll actually type something news-worthy over the weekend!!

thought it was an interesting sighting in Daegu, Korea

Whenever I need a laugh, I talk to this kid in some Southern slang
                                               Boss's daughter -- good kid
I have about 90 minutes with these kids per day
My coworker Amelia would shoot me for this one!!

A picture from hiking

On Saturday, I organized some folks from the church to go on a little hiking trip.  There were eight of us, from six different countries (Korea, Myanmar, Philippines, Indonesia, Ethiopia, and USA).  It was a cloudy, dreary day, but it was nice for us to get out.

I'll post more stuff tomorrow.

Have a good Sunday.

Long Time No See

My deepest apologies for being too lazy to put posts on here in the last few weeks.  I've not been that busy -- a little worn down from working a "normal" schedule (at least by my American standards, it is).  Working with little ones though in the afternoon is definitely kicking my butt.  The easy part is the young ones in the morning and early afternoon.  That's due to a Korean being in the room to assist me at almost all times.  I do get SMALL snacks in the morning and afternoon, as well as a lunch.  I'll have to start preparing food daily, like I started doing last week.

It's 12:45 am right now, but I wanted to at least post something on here before I went to sleep.  I'm gonna doze off in a few minutes, so I can wake up early for the NCAA tournament -- gotta see the Tigers and Jayhawks play when I rise.

Have a good weekend

Pictures from my brief visit to Paris

It shall be noted that I had to use my IPod to take these pictures, since my camera was with in my luggage somewhere in the Paris airport.

These places should look familiar.

Still in America

I'm waiting, and waiting for these immigration folks to get me a visa issuance number so the fine people at the Korean Consulate in Atlanta, Georgia,  can get me a work visa.  So, I had to cancel my trip to Sofia, since the Embassy there told me I couldn't get my visa -- though they told me I could get it a day before.  Anyway, I'll update a little bit more over the big weekend sometime.  Big in terms of the many sporting events happening.

Last Day of Work

Yesterday was my last day of work at the good 'ole EFL Institute.  I'll be going home in a few days to Memphis.  Then three weeks from today, I'll head to Sofia, Bulgaria for a few days.  And then I'll be back in 'ole Daegu, one last time.  I'm packed and ready, to get out of here for  a few weeks.  I've definitely made some great friends though at my church, and will actually stay tonight and part of tomorrow night with two of them -- Taddesse, and Silesse -- two fellows from Ethiopia.  I took them to the English club last week, and they really had a blast there.  Anyway, I have a computer telling me that it's got a low battery -- so I am now leaving my apartment one final time.  The computer will stay here while I am gone, but I'll log in somewhere and update you all.  God Bless and catch you on the flip side.
