Sometimes weekends call for a melatonin or two, and even a muscle relaxer to really get the body some good R and R. Friday night only required me laying my head down on the pillow for seemed to be a little rest before going to get some dinner. As it turns out 7 pm eventually turned into about 8 am on Saturday morning. I was dragging all day long on Saturday as a result. So a little melatonin cocktail on Saturday and Sunday evening helped me get things back to normal.
Of course my "free" internet that I borrow from somewhere in my hood isn't working so well these days. As a result of this, I am posting this from work. I don't have a super big data plan with my wifi egg, so I don't want to use it at home too much. The weather here in Daegu is wonderful these days. Even the kids are acting a little better at times -- then again their energy levels should be higher with the coolness in the air. Too bad the humidity still exists in this city. We are surrounded by mountains, which really helps in the case of weather-related disasters, but sucks when it comes to the concept of mugginess.
There isn't a whole lot that I really want to discuss right now. Thankfully my body is getting back into the swing of things, but we have parental events at the school this weekend and next weekend, so I am wrapped up in that stuff along with doing student evaluations as well. I hope to get that book stuff worked on a little bit as well. I finally put some work in on Saturday night, but it was only about 500 words worth. Perhaps tomorrow I'll be brave enough to add 1,000 words, or at least reword some of what I already have completed.
Hey, college football season is now underway and the WKU Hilltoppers started off with a win.
Happy Labor Day everyone.
