The happy part is a little on the sarcastic side for now. With winter camps, Friday is just a one day closer to that pivotal day off not known as Saturday -- Sunday is the one day off. One more day til' a trip to Daegu though.
My stomach got better yesterday and then I came home and started eating something called kimbap (which I usually eat all the time here), and whatever my stomach was communicating to me was not good. The problem started on Wednesday when I woke up, and I just pulled through. I had this "i want to vomit" feeling for most of the day. Then that feeling came back right before I went to sleep last night. At least I got to still sleep for about eight hours - that's what happens when you are so far away from civilization.
The last two days have been fun. Besides, having to maneuver around patches of ice, and ice hidden under snow, the kids have been enjoying themselves for the most part. I feel more and more rejuvenated every day. It also helps to be able to go to the gym on a daily basis as well. The heat in the dorm is still lacking for the most part -- sounds bad, but I can almost relate to what a homeless person goes through in the winter time in terms of needing warm shelter. Last night I slept with three long-sleeve shirts on. I could get a space heater, but I'm actually sleeping just fine.
I do need to get moving, but I'll leave you with a few pictures of some of my students from the last few days. I'm now realizing how useful that camera is on my Ipod now. I can leave that fancy Olympus of mine in the drawer at the dorm room for now.
