My head's still feeling a little weird from the short plane flight today, so there's not much that will be put in here for tonight. . . We flew into this area around lunchtime today, and we didn't eat any Vietnamese food all day long. It turns out the area where we are staying is quite the international neighborhood. Lunch was wonderful Indian food, while we ate dinner at a Korean restaurant near the hotel. There are actually three Korean restaurants near our hotel, but this one that we ate at had the best menu. Of course the environment was quite Korean as well. Businessmen slurring their words after gulping down large amounts of Soju or beer. I thought one of the men was gonna fall before he made it out of the restaurant.
We did go to a museum today -- The War Remnants Museum. Also seen was this amazing French style post office, that sits next to the Notre Dame Cathedral. We saw the Reunification Palace, and will tour the grounds of it tomorrow I talked Joe into visiting some really popular market that Lonely Planet and other touristy sites suggest visiting. We passed the Opera House too. The architecture there is quite French -- what a surprise huh? Besides that we mostly did a bunch of walking, and watching the crazy traffic of Vietnam with all the motor bikes.
