It was a well deserved super lazy day though. Especially after walking, and walking yesterday. The zoo was a rough walk after a five hour flight. My body decided to tell me that news this morning. I woke up glued to the TV for the movie Unknown. Even the little dining area downstairs had it on, so I could finish it up. I've been planning the rest of my week throughout various parts of the day as well. I have a hotel, cooking class, a Mekong Delta tour, and a few other things lined up for now. It would be really nice to just stay here, but I may get my butt to Cambodia next week.
I enjoyed a tour with a wonderful motorbike rider today. When we finished lunch though, we were introduced to a monsoonish-downpour The rain slowed down eventually, but still forced me to change a few things up for the day. I went to a local spa for a massage, a nice shave (since I forgot my razors), and some facial treatment thing, that was pleasant. I came back to the hotel, and relaxed a little bit, before making it to the famous Ben Tranh Market for a little meal. I spoke with some guys who were Asian Americans that are from the Michigan area. One has a father in Vietnam, and the other grew up in Korea. So their trip was going from Vietnam to Korea, and then catching a ferry to Japan, before starting the next chapters in their lives.
My super kind driver Ni'
Korean peppers have got nothin' on these things
Bracing for the rainy ride back into town
City Hall in the background
Mango Juice and round 1 of dinner
Fruits - Yummy Fruits
Flower stand
One part of a cool building at least
