Today was a much livelier day than yesterday. Actually last night, a huge rain came, and the electricity even went out. I think the power outage was probably a safety precaution though. It was kind of a weird thing, hearing the roar of waves, along with the strong winds, while talking to some friends through Kakao Talk last night. All of a sudden it is light out, and no more messaging. It helped me sleep pretty well though.
At 8:30 this morning, I rode on a little motorbike up the dirt road to John's Tours office. From there I was picked up, and rode along with a few Chinese, Vietnamese, Koreans, and even a Finnish couple that was extremely kind. The Chinese couple was fun to talk with as well. First we stopped at a Pearl place that was kind of a waste of thirty good minutes. Then we proceeded back on to the red dirt road (yes, it was really, really red). After the bouncing around on the red dirt road for a good forty-five minutes or so, we finally arrived at a port in the southern most part of the island. We then boarded a boat and proceeded to a little fishing spot.
The fishing lasted about twenty or thirty minutes, but it was a nice experience.
