What a hard day!!!

This morning as I was eating breakfast, I overhead someone talking about "Oh those loud Americans", and then I looked over and gave a big smile. There were a few folks having a discussion at two separate tables. There was a mother with her 30 something year old daughter that has taught English in China for over seven years. She's quite a little fireball, and her mom is still recovering from some knee surgery. Kris, the daughter gave me a book by Michael Crichton, which I started today. So far I'm enjoying the book.

Then there is Joe, a retired guy from Washington D.C. He's an animated guy, who maybe in his 60s, but extremely nice. I even passed my latest Ken Follett novel on to him, which he's excited about. I love my Ken Follett books. Joe has a travel companion named Lou who is from England. She is a well traveled lady, in her 40s who has actually returned to college recently. After the five of us had dinner, I spent some time with Joe and Lou at a local bar called Rory's, which is owned by a married couple from Australia.

Besides eating, reading in the sun, and drinking beer, typing this blog post has been the most work that I have done all day today. I may have taken a total of five pictures today. Since I was almost glued to a beach chair for most of it, you can understand why.

Tomorrow should be a little more active though.
